Forum Wschodnie. Rocznik Interdyscyplinarny
In 2013, the first issue of the journal Forum Wschodnie. Rocznik Interdyscyplinarny was published, initiated by the Department of Eastern European History at the Institute of Eastern Studies, Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM), and the Poznań Branch of the Poland-East Cooperation Association. Its pages address issues concerning the so-called "post-Soviet East".
Forum Wschodnie is academic and interdisciplinary in nature. It is aimed at researchers (including historians, political scientists, sociologists, archaeologists, philologists, cultural studies scholars, and philosophers). On the pages of the journal, we publish topics concerning Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova, as well as the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia (also in the context of their relations with Poland and the European Union). Forum Wschodnie includes thematic sections on social, political, legal, economic, and cultural affairs. The published papers can have a historical profile as well as address contemporary issues.
We are a non-profit publication. The editorial office of Forum Wschodnie does not provide honoraria to authors, and there are no fees associated with the publication of texts. You can find the current issue of the journal in the library or at our editorial office, where you are welcome to come, discuss, and have a coffee. Wishing you an enjoyable read, we invite you to collaborate and submit materials.
